When walking through the town, you can continue down the wide and extraordinary avenue called Avenida del Marques del Duero. The palm trees complete the Avenida all the way to the coast through the neighborhood Nueva Alcantara.
There is a twelve kilometre long seafront promenade and a cycle path which snakes along the beach. The promenade is a part of the long-distance Malaga Coastal Path project. It will follow the entire coast of the Malaga province from Manilva to Nerja.

The eye-catching San Pedro Boulevard goes through the town. In addition, the pedestrian bridge designed to reflect the waves in Alboran sea. They both become popular features of the area.
This bridge and its cycle lane, designed by Spanish architect Juan Antonio Fernández, unite the two sides of San Pedro, the beachside and the town. It also provides a wide variety of different and well-maintained playgrounds for children.
